Client Spotlight – Ossining Children’s Center COVID Era Ribbon Cutting

You and I may be mere mortals but the Ossining Children’s Center in Westchester County, New York has not missed a beat this year.

Their commitment to providing high quality early education to the families integral to Ossining - many of whom are working poor, or people of color - was not stopped by the pandemic. In addition to keeping in close contact with all of their students and families during their shutdown period, they have continued construction on their new and larger home.

On Sept 23rd they held a (socially distanced, masks required) Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to inaugurate the beautiful, new building. These before and after photos tell the story!

As for the Heller Fundraising Group, we are excited that the fundraising for the $17.8 million project has also continued without a pause with substantial gifts secured this year.

I hope you’re as inspired as I am by this small town and the people of the Children’s Center.
